These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VaruoCore's services. By starting a project, accepting a quote, or using our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. VaruoCore is operated by an independent developer ("VaruoCore", "we", "us"). This document is a starting point, not legal advice — please have a qualified attorney review it for your location before relying on it (see the notice above), and complete the placeholders marked below. 1. SERVICES VaruoCore provides custom software development services, which may include Discord bots, websites, dashboards and portals, automation and integrations, hosting and deployment setup, and ongoing maintenance. Every project is custom-scoped. The specific work, deliverables, timeline, and price for your project are defined in the quote we provide and that you accept. 2. QUOTES AND ORDERS You start a project by submitting a request describing what you need. We review it and provide a written quote setting out the scope, included features, exclusions, price, deposit, revision allowance, and any support period. A quote is an offer; a binding agreement is formed when you accept the quote and pay the required deposit. Quotes may include an expiry date, after which they may change or no longer be available. 3. PRICING, DEPOSITS, AND PAYMENT Prices are quoted per project. Unless your quote states otherwise, a deposit (typically 50%) is required before work begins, with the remaining balance due before final delivery. Payments are made by the methods shown to you (currently PayPal or Cash App) and are confirmed manually by us. You are responsible for any fees charged by the payment provider. You must be authorized to use the payment method you provide. We never store your full card or bank account numbers, and you should never share them with us. 4. REVISIONS AND CHANGES Your quote states the number of revision rounds included. Reasonable revisions within the agreed scope are included. Work that expands the agreed scope ("change requests") may require an additional quote and cost and may affect the timeline. 5. TIMELINES Any timelines we provide are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Timelines depend on the project scope and on you providing information, materials, access, and feedback promptly. Our stated response-time goal (within 12 hours) is a goal, not a guarantee. 6. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES You agree to: provide accurate project information; supply any content, branding, assets, accounts, or access we reasonably need; review and respond to progress updates and testing builds in a timely way; and ensure you have the rights to any materials you provide to us. Delays caused by missing information or feedback may extend the timeline. 7. DELIVERY AND ACCEPTANCE We will deliver the agreed deliverables once the project is complete and the final balance is paid. You are given the opportunity to review and test the work at milestones and before final delivery. A support period, if included, is stated in your quote. 8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND SOURCE CODE After you have paid in full, you receive the project-specific source code and agreed deliverables, and the rights to use them for your project, unless your quote states otherwise. VaruoCore retains ownership of its own pre-existing and reusable components, libraries, tools, and know-how; where these are included in your project, you receive a non-exclusive license to use them as part of that project. You retain ownership of the content, branding, and materials you provide to us. 9. HOSTING, MAINTENANCE, AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES Hosting, deployment setup, and ongoing maintenance are available and, if included, are described in your quote or a separate maintenance plan. Your project may rely on third-party services (for example Discord, hosting providers, or payment providers), which have their own terms and costs. We are not responsible for the availability, changes, or actions of third-party services. 10. MAINTENANCE PLANS Maintenance plans are sold separately from project development and cover the updates, fixes, and improvements described in the plan. Maintenance does not include new features outside the plan's scope, which are quoted separately. 11. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS You may cancel a project by contacting us. Because work begins after the deposit, deposits are generally non-refundable to the extent work has already been performed. If you cancel, you are responsible for payment for work completed up to the cancellation. Any refund of amounts paid beyond work performed is at our reasonable discretion. We may decline or cancel a project (for example if the requested work is unlawful, outside what we offer, or if required cooperation or payment is not provided); in that case we will refund any deposit for work not yet performed. 12. WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIMERS We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. Except as expressly stated in your quote, the services and deliverables are provided "as is". We do not warrant that software will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will meet requirements not stated in the agreed scope. We make no absolute security or performance guarantees. Any warranty or support period is limited to what your quote states. 13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the maximum extent permitted by law, VaruoCore will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. 14. ACCEPTABLE USE You agree not to request or use our services for any unlawful purpose, or to build anything that infringes others' rights, distributes malware, enables fraud or abuse, or violates the rules of platforms your project uses (for example Discord's Terms of Service and Developer Policy). We may decline work that we reasonably believe is unlawful or abusive. 15. CONFIDENTIALITY Each party agrees to keep the other's non-public information confidential and to use it only to carry out the project. We may reference the general nature of completed work in our portfolio; we will not publish your confidential information, and we will not name you as a client without a truthful basis and, where appropriate, your permission. 16. AGE AND PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION By starting a project you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and to enter into this agreement. If you are under the age of majority in your location, a parent or guardian must review and authorize the project and payment, and we may require guardian involvement. 17. TERMINATION Either party may end the working relationship if the other materially breaches these Terms and does not fix the breach within a reasonable time after notice. Sections that by their nature should survive (including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive termination. 18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect for your project is the version you accepted when you accepted your quote. Continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the updated Terms for new interactions. 19. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES [PLACEHOLDER — to be completed by the owner with a qualified attorney: the governing law, jurisdiction, and dispute-resolution process that apply to VaruoCore's location and business structure.] 20. CONTACT Questions about these Terms can be raised through the VaruoCore Discord server (support channel) or at [business contact email — fill in before publishing].
